As Northern California locals, we started Red Hot Glass LLC because we have a passion for art. It has become our mission to connect great art creators with people in our incredible community.
Meet the Founders
Quinlynn Rainey
Quin began collecting art glass at an early age, so it's no surprise that her passion would eventually be glass blowing. Her first experience in the glass blowing field started in 2014 in Shasta College and it didn't take long before she decided to make glass art work her career goal. Quin successfully acquired her degree from Shasta college and moved on to the CSU Chico bachelor program to gain more knowledge and techniques in the field. Unfortunately, covid-19 hit shortly before Quin could graduate and the program was shut down. Disappointed yet determined, Quin began blowing glass on a torch in her garage and thus, Red Hot Glass Llc was born!
Steven Epperson
With extensive experience in sales, Steven has always dreamed of owning a small business so that he can make a significant positive impact on the local community. The opportunity to start Red Hot Glass LLC with local artists and friends let his dream become a reality. Steven is dedicated to providing a space for artists to come and not only create their masterpieces but also where we can share it with our friends and neighbors, our comminity.
Our Story
Wild Ass Glass
Quinlynn Rainey and Steven Epperson are the founders of Red Hot Glass LLC. The couple wanted to build something together and build a future for their daughter. This story will begin with the history of how Red Hot Glass came to be.
Originally created in 2016, Wild Ass Glass was our first adventure into the world of building an art company. Although it was a complete failure within the first year, we did learn much and that pushed us to adapt and overcome the challenges we were encountering. Several years later, we founded Red Hot Glass LLC in the beginning of 2022, during the COVID-19 pandemic with the hopes of building a company that would not only support our lifestyle of making and selling art but would also allow us the freedom and capability to give something back to the community.
Many kids no longer have art taught in schools, especially as they get older, which we believe is a great dis-service to children. It our firm belief that activities like art help youth to develop creative and technical skills as well as build imaginative ideas.
